Heads up to all, Boots have a sale on LAST YEAR's christmas toys/gifts 75% off PLUS on 342 then have loads of summer stuff in sale too (between 50% off & 90% off!). I bought :-
2x swimsuits for me (should have been £27.00 & £20.00), 1 swimsuit for DD (should have been £12) from summer stuff. 2x Dalek 3D shower/bubble bath - one black, one gold (should have been £5 each), 2x Noddy soft toys - Tessie Bear & Bumpy Dog? (should have been £5 each), Dr Who Future Sonic Screwdriver (should have been £10) & a science museum kit (should have been £10.00) from last year's xmas toys section & I paid just over £15.00 for the lot!
It's not advertised as 342 but if you take items to till they will show you which are on the offer, it is nationwide (I was told) but all depends what stock they have left from store to store.2023 wins - Rice Krispies, Avene Micellar Gel, Barbie Toy, £20 Apple Gift Card, KFC 6 piece bargain bucket, Chloe Nomade perfume, Barbie Toy (second one), Sanctuary Spa Sleep Balm, E45 Moisturising Lotion, Trolls Hamper, 12 Tonie Characters, Sure deodorant, Good Home Utensil holder, £5 Costa Gift Card, Neutrogena Micellar Jelly, Soap & Glory Mascara, Persil capsules,0 -

Blackmidnight, good to see you re-connected :T and hope you manage to sort your boiler out. There is nothing better than a nice shower in a new flat  Are you adjusting ok to living in Chester?
Why do I get low when I go to the university? had to renew my library membership, but really felt bad. I want the VIVA over with...and the whole thing done and dusted. Still waiting for an external examiner to decide what time they will be able to come here, etc. Can't enjoy anything at the moment and I don't want this to develop into a habit :eek: Also going to bed really early sometimes at 11:eek: I guess I am trying not to think much and I don't dare look my work in the face ....but I have to before the discussion.
Done with the shopping .... it's a lovely day here again ..hope this weather lasts a bit longer .
Will try to catch up with comping..
hope you get the date for your viva soon so it can be over x
it's weird living here as everything closes early.... been living in liverpool & manchester for the past 5 years so shops have always been open in the evenings but now things close at 5 so I have to go on my own if i want to go anywhere so I don't go anywhereit's ok though i guess - living by the canal and have ducks and canal boats making noise all day!

Hopefully, you will start to explore the place together slowly, any plans to visit Chester zoo?

evening all...
Hope you find La la Sassi, thats terrible, xxxI finally got my 7 year old dd to sleep tonight.
She has been obsessing over changing her breathing technique with butterfly stroke, and confuddled over how many kicks she likes best to her one arm pull - torn between 2 or 3 kicks... 30 mins I had of this, and it was completely over my head... She swims pre development with a club, so is learning competitive strokes ready for 2010 or later, and I am the worlds worst swimmer.
Tis lovely how they think we still know all the answers to every question in the world at this age through.gingerchick wrote: »Aww Mamzie, how old is she?
It's great that they can get 'into' things like that.
I really must get my two into swimming lessons. I keep meaning to do it.
opps, completely missed this last night sorry GC, Catrina is 7 1/2, she passed level 8 ASA swiming as she turned 6 and has been with a Swimming club for a year. She swims strange strokes to me, as they work on competitive techniques a lot.
Like their backstroke push off, is a submerged streamlined fly kick. I can just about swim underwater, and def not on my back.
How old are your los? Its great for them to swim.My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -
