A couple months ago I received a letter from Moon Beever saying that the terms of my income payments have been completed and that they won't require any further payments and I quote:"if you are still not paying tax please keep the money as the Inland Revenue will be in contact".I'd like to add that I still have the NT code on my payslip and of course I don't pay the tax.The NT tax code was introduced in February this year and in the separate letter from HMR&C I was informed that my employer was to use the NT tax code until 5 April 2009 only,My question is:do I have to contact the HMR&C about the NT tax code still attached or just to keep a low profile and wait for the letter from HMR&C however I know that I won't avoid any tax payment.
I appreciate any help in this matter

You need to contact HMRC to change your tax code back to a 'normal' one. Sooner the better as they will claw it back by probably reducing your tax code.0
