I arrived home from work today to find my living room upside down (it's normal state tbh) but with tv etc on our new Yamaha av stand and I have to say it looks fab and hubby agrees. He says he did spend quite a while putting it together but it is very sturdy. Only problem now, how to deter the dust? Thank you mrsfarnie.

I have orderd this and cannot believe the problems i'm having with this company. They keep asking me to "validate" my details before they will proceed with my order? I have given them an alternative e-mail address and now they ask for a contact phone number. I don't give out my phone number to anyone. I have paid for the item using Paypal what more do they want? unbelievable. Be warned about this company i will never deal with them again. I am at the point of cancelling my order. Their customer service is appalling.

Got mine yesterday but as yet not opened the box as OH thinking it might be too small for our 42" LCD. Also the photo (thanks for posting it) isnt clear if there is a glass flap or drawer at the top.

In the photo on pixmania, it looks wider and there does seem to be this glass draw/flap thing.

can you advise on this please

    many thanks

That confused me as well. I thought that it was a drawer to put all my manuals in but it's probably the HTY-750 Digital Sound Projector (

which is what the stand's designed for.

I wouldn't worry about its being too small for your 42" screen, we're using a stand with pretty much the same dimensions for our 50" plasma. Anything bigger would occupy too much room.
