Private Education and B/R

I think many years ago - maybe after an appeal - it was agreed that childrens' private education fees could be included in an Income and Expenditure.

In other words an allowable expense in BR.

Can anybody confirm if private education fees are still allowed?

Many Thanks

    Cant remember...i'll have a dig

think you have to provide reasonable answers to why private school is needed rather than state one...

As far as I am aware private education fees can only be included if the child is of an age where they are in exam years

And if the child is already established at the school.

lol yes should have said that too.. you cant go off and put your child in private education just before going BR, they will only let the child stay in private education if it will have a negative effect upon the childs education/exam results
