debt classified as statute barred, yet still get phone calls from capquest

I've been looking for a letter or what to do next on this as it's rather weird, but cannot find a template to copy to close this issue out.
I received this letter from capquest about 1week ago. This is following our "we do not acknowledge this debt letter to them"
This is great news for us and we had a celebration as a big sigh of relief as it was totally unknown what this so called debt was.
Anyway, last night while I was out my Fiancee answered the phone and it was someone from capquest wanting to confirm details to discuss something. DF refused to give any details including confirming her name and the person on the phone refused to give any details either. he got very angry when she did this.
He argued that how could we refuse to give details if we did not even know what it was about. To which DF responded to say, please send in writing. She then hung up.
They re-rung and similar conversation occured again.
This time she added that the issue was closed and therefore not interested. He "hinted" it maybe to do with something else, so please confirm details...
This upset DF as she thought this chasing had all gone. What should we do now?
The options I see are:
Write or ring the named person on the above letter and complain. If so what should I write? I prefer the idea of writing.
Write to Capquest generally (not specific named person) as above complaint....
Ignore it and just hang up phones
When calls next threaten with something to stop them? If so, what script?
Report to OFF etc? If so what to write?
Please help as this is causing stress and upset on a already emotional financee whom we are expecting first born soon, so could do without anything extra...
Thank you very much in advance

I can confirm after further investigation the above referenced account is now Statute Barred and Capquest have made the decision to close the account from their systems. You will receive no further communication in regards to account ssssss.

hmm, ok a letter then to OFT and capquest seems the most logical solution. I will continue to look for templates then and post back when I find one suitable.
If anyone does find one or know of one, then please post as my searches are becoming a little frustrating at this time, especially as I know that one must exist, it seems logical for it anyway. From what i've read other people have had continued calls even after a debt has been cancelled/closed.0 -
Hi, I posted this letter to Aktiv Kapital and they have not telephoned me since.I DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE ANY DEBT.
Ref account number:
Dear Sir,
With regard to the above account, I am not prepared to discuss this matter unless it is in writing. I do not wish to receive any more telephone calls regarding this matter.
If you contact me via the telephone I will view it as harassment and you will be in breach of Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act 1970 and the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. You would also be in breach of the Communications Act (2003) s.127 and I would report you to OFCOM, Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading, meaning that you could be liable to a substantial fine.
Please also be advised that all calls are now being logged and recorded.
Yours faithfully,0 -
