Just be warned. Many shared ownship contracts may fall through at the final part i.e. moving in, with HSBC. They only really know when the main contracts are exchanged with the solicitor.
HSBC do carry out shared-ownership but you must still put down a deposit!!! Just be aware of that.Motto: 'If you don't ask, you don't get!!'

Is not only in the last couple of days it was a couple of months ago. My daughter completed on her Shared Ownership purchase last week. She was lucky to get a very good fixed rate deal with the Leeds before they changed their lending criteria for SO. And she didn't need to pay an arrangement fee, or brokers fees.
