Good Gamecube Offer(s)

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the best place to purchase a gamecube, on its own or in a bundle? Thanks

I feel the best place to purchase would be Gamestation if you don't mind it being pre-owned because their around the £30-£50 mark. hope this helps
  • Argos still do the Mario Smash Football bundle for £79.99: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/0642138.htm

Some of us got these when they were on offer at £39.99 a while back and the Argos in Newcastle's Eldon Square actually had one behind the counter for £39.99 in the Clearance section last Sunday.

Best place is normally Toysrus. They usually have bundle deals with games and accessories at £49.99 and above.

If you are in Northern Ireland Xtra Vision are having a games clearout sale and they have bundles at £49.99 along with some very cheap games.

Hope you don't mind me asking but any recommendations for a game for gamecube suitable for a 5 year olds birthday (a boy)?

    Many thanks for any tips!

Wario Ware Inc is a really fun multi player game, the best I could find is £16.99 on amazon.co.uk. It has hundreds of little games that you play for three seconds each - great for short attention spans.

I sold some old GameCube games on ebay recently and most of them really don't sell for much...

There are exceptions to this, things like Animal Crossing seem to still command a good price - I ended up buying a second GC at Christmas just to get a copy of this for my daughter (gave her the GC as well and flogged the games she didn't want).

    Mario Smash Football
    Ice Age 2
    Madagascar
Mario Party (5, 6 or 7) Great multiplayer games but with solo modes
Dora The Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet
    The Incredibles
Animal Crossing (Great game but has to have quite good reading ability)

I said WarioWare, but the best multi-player game bar none on the Gamecube is Mario Kart: Double Dash. I dare you to disagree!
