stuffed bread

my friend used to make this, its bread dough with ifillings in it before cooking. used to make giant bread rolls with ham but havent a clue what else.
Cant find a recipe can anyone help

I lliked the sound of this so I googled it, lots of responses but this one looks good. D&DD posted an apple braid recipe which is put together in the same way, posters on that thread tried it with savoury filling with great success

Here's an Italian stuffed bread which is cooked with the filling inside which may be more the thing you're after;

I also liked the idea of a loaf hollowed and filled with a mixture like here

My MIL makes a delicious ham and cheese bread.She makes the dough in the bread maker and then rolls it out into a rectangle, sprinkles ham and cheese on it and then rolls it up. I think she leaves it in a warm place for a little while to prove but i'm not sure. Then she bakes it and oh my god its good! Sometimes when she rolls it up she then cuts it into slice and flips them over onto a baking sheet so they lok a bit like cinnamon swirls IYSWIM and serves them as rolls.

Sometimes if she's feeling naughty she uses chocolate spread and chopped nuts insted of ham and cheese!

And yes she is the best MIL ever!!!lol!
