bankruptcy forms

this is my first post on mse even though i have been an avid watcher for a couple of years now.my question is how long does it take to go br from handing in your forms at county court.i am in the process of filling in the forms online at the moment and am worried about ccjs been issued before br goes thru.mbna are about to default me at the end of the month.

    Hi

    You would need to check with your local court to see if they run a 'drop in' system or you need to book an appointment. When you go to court with your forms and fee, the forms will be checked by a clerk who you pay the fee to. Then you will be seen by the judge (not always depends on the court). You will then be issued with your BR order form and from that minute on you will be BR. There will be no 'waiting for it to go thru', you are officially BR when the judge stamps the BR order form.

    I handed my form in on the Tuesday and my BR on the Wednesday.
