Took the advice of yesterday and made notes! But oh my going through my cc statements and the cc tart I was last year! Tried my best and still have an excess of about £20k to spend (well if I wasnt BR). Makes eye opening reading (I would give me a BRO) (Hope not though)
Thanks for the advice and I will have your post in front of me tomorrow Beth!! Cheer honey

Not long now - go for it.

All done and dusted - 34 minutes!
Asked me to explain in my own words how and why I am bankrupt. Brought a lump to my throat.
Discussed car first - exempt! So pleased
Discussed tax - will have nil tax code but only pay 95% of the tax back to OR
Income and Expenditure - All okay. child benefit is disregarded and will have an IPA but less than I thought, which is good
House - Can purchase BI for £1 plus legal fees, based on valuations she said it looks to be in neg equity. I asked if I bought BI but then decided to let it go what would happen? She said it was really important to think about this as if I bought BI and then it was sold/repossessed and there was a shortfall, I would be liable. If I didnt buy BI then the shortfall would be included in BR
Questions I asked:
Can I continue as a school gov - no
Can I switch back to repayment mortgage - probably yes, get figures together and discuss
Can I pay into my company pension - again probably yes, need to see figures
BRO - will need to look at statements to see if that happens - will find out in time.
All in all, I'm still shaky over it all but she was nice and hopefully head down to discharge
Thanks for your wishes and help
