Not sure what happened to my last thread but l wanted to know if anyone else had applied for an unsecured personal loan after seeing those online adverts just to find out the at the company doing the advert didn't really lend you the money, they just put you through to someone else who you have to pay a fee to for your application.

How are they allowed to do this?

Their adverts all claim that you will be accepted for a loan in under an hour, but the reality is that THEY ARE NOT THE ONES GIVING YOU THE MONEY.

How is this legal?

The way they have their adverts set up l was inclined to think that l would be loaning the money from them, not that they were agents for another company, who subsequently turned me down. How is this right?
