Best job sites

Can anyone advise on the best sites to view jobs in the North West area apart from the Jobcentre plus.

Thanks.

Well i live in the North West and i found that going on the local papers websites and looking at the job section there was quite helpful with loads of local jobs listed. I live near Liverpool so i used to go on the globe website etc. Like any job website, be wary of the 'marketing job' ads, most of them are scams. Especially if they promise the world and excellent salary with no experience necessary!! This also applies to the usual job websites like monster, jobsite, fish4jobs etc.

If you type in 'north west jobs' it comes up with quite a few websites for you to have a look on.

If you want to try agencies, i found Brook good. Reed and Kelly services were useless.

  • I've been using Jobs Mine, Reed (just the website) and getting Manchester Evening News every Thursday. I find things like Fish4Jobs really frustrating as it's littered with dodgy commission based jobs!
