Relocate?

Hi everyone, this is more a looking for advise kinda thread coz I'm awful at making decisions and thought someone here may have been in my situation...

I'm on a temporary contract working in the land dept housebuilder til December (was OCtober but got extended) but of course I would like something permanent. I have several interviews coming up for permanent jobs at Councils in places that would require me to relocate (i know these jobs had 100+ applicants so Im pleased to be getting interviews).

The actual jobs look good but I have just gone through a difficult break up from my bf of 5 years :-( it was amicable but im still finding it hard coz I still loved him a lot when we broke up (we broke up because we had been arguing all the time).

If I got offered either of the jobs, is it the right time for me to relocate somewhere else??? Or would it be too hard with everything else thats been happening?

Any advice peeps? I feel like in this climate I would stupid to turn down a job but im just not sure if I could manage being somewhere new by myself.

If you're offered any of these jobs then jump at it and relocate. The fact that you've just split up with your boyfriend puts you in an ideal position as you have no ties and can go wherever you're offered a job.

You're obviously a grown woman rather than a kid so enjoy your independence and fly!

Go for it! I have moved to a place where I dont know anyone and yes its scary, but its also liberating. Throw yourself into your new life - you can always move back if it does not work out :D
