Bank of Scotland refusing payment

I cannot believe it!
Have been paid and have spent all night on the phone paying people. Last people on my list are bank of scotland who have plagued me day and night for weeks for a payment. So much so that I have written a letter of complaint claiming harassment.
Eventually after half an hour I got through. When I tried to make my payment he refused to take it until I told him when I would be sending my budget plan in. When I told him that I wasn't going to do a budget plan, he just carried on refusing to take my payment. He wouldn't put me through to anyone else either. When he accused me of abusing him (not as much as I wanted to) he said he was ending the call and put the phone down.
Red mist, red mist! Rang back - have to say very brave of me.
What a difference a call makes. Got through to a lovely bloke who read the notes back to me. I put the phone down on him apparently!!!!! and refused to give him info. The second chap told me I was quite right not to send a budget plan in as I had a plan going forward and my problem short term. He took my payment and advised me on how much to make next month and the month after to avoid the charges (they won't stop charges until you put a budget plan in). He also said putting a budget plan in affects your credit rating for up to six years. Not heard this one before.
I am exhausted now and my mate on holiday so can't even go out for a drink, or stay in for one cos none in. oh well, the ironing will get done at least!
