anyone know when the next rate annoucement might be??

It's (usually) the first Thursday of the month, with the next decision being taken next Thursday 4th May.

The bank rate is highly unlikely to change this month, or next, or the next.
It's possible that the next move could be up - but even that will probably be delayed until the last minute, meaning no sooner than Autumn.
But who knows?
