paper Work Delivery

Hi Guys and girls,
Just a quick one.
I've applied for a loan, it has been accepted and I've been asked to pay £59 upfront by direct debit for paper work delivery.
Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this?

Beware - it sounds like a broker fee
You could end up losing your money with nothing to show for it.
Search out the brokers name on this site?0 -

Juat did some searching and I think I will be telling them where to go if they ring back.
Don't think I'll ever get a loan0 -
'sfunny: Companies House has "Wentworth Direct Finance" as "Dormant".
see

- could be legit but odd that such a "thriving & buoyant" organisation as Wentworth should be so lacking in business in June 2008 that it decided to file as Dormant..
Ask 'em about it when you next speak with these fine upstanding gentlemen..
Cheers!

The thing that threw me is alot of people are mentioning fee to search for a loan. However they say They have found one and the fee is to deliver the paperwork.0

Don't worry I'm not. Just seems like a good option when you can't get help else where.0

But they don't have any options to help you, they just say they do. I can guarantee the options they offer you are: (you can go to these places direct if you really want to)
- Welcome finance (might not still be lending though)
- FLM (£3000 max, avg 50% APR and they need a guarantor)
- Payday loans (usually £750 max but the money is quick- the APR is very high)
