Bailiffs, what can they take??

My friend is in a situation where she's having to make herself bankrupt. When she does, and the bailiffs move in, what do they have to leave her with, its just that she's got a very expensive cooker, dont they have to leave her enough to cook, sleep on etc??

If your friend is going Bankrupt, then no action will be taken at all by the Bailiffs, however the Official Reciever has the power to seize assets.

I agree with less the Baillifs wont come near and the OR wont touch her cooker if he take sit and sells it for pennies she then has to buy another. i'd tell her to stop worrying
