Thanks everyone for all the support....
alfiesmum - The calculator is helpful. Thanks a lot. :-)
Thanks Jonbvn for suggesting Cash ISA. I have one ISA but the interest rate is not so good..Also now when Bank of England is holding to 0.5% interest ..I think its better to invest somewhere else where I can get better returns.Mortgage free in seven (yrs): 10.09.2016

Reduced my alcohol consumption. It was a definite pint every day before and more on weekends but now its like 3-4 pints a week. Can I reduce this further?
Good luck on reducing your alchol intake. Me and DH have made a rule of no alchol during the week and I have to say that it definitely reduced how much we drink although a bad day at work often ruins our plans

Apologies for not updating my Diary. Its was very hectic last few weeks.
The good news is that atleast I started making overpayments now. I paid just overpaid £100 so far. Planning to overpay more than £100 in this month.
There was a lot happening in last few weeks with relatives visit and my Europe trips etc. And there were lots of expenses. And now planning another trip to France next month. So more expenses coming up. I think it will be a quiet period from December month onwards.
Another things I want to share with people here is that I am trying my hands on fixing things at home. There were few repairs required related to light bulbs and cabling and I managed to fix those. Its a proud feeling when I know that I saved something.
There was paint work required in one of the rooms. All did it myself. Now I can think I am as good as any other painter 7 Decorator.

Now I've made a habit of paying making some repayment every month even after a lot of expenses in past months.
Had a bad last few weeks..Expenditure is mounting..I had an accident few days back. I hit the car in front of me..tried hard to avoid but conditions were not in my favour..wet road..bad brakes and my bad luck..and I only have third-party so have to pay all my repairs myself....
Every month when I think of making some more overpayments somthing like this happen. And my France trip is still on..
I cant believe my outgoing is more than my incoming. I hope the tide will turn in my favour soon...Mortgage free in seven (yrs): 10.09.2016
