Any decent hotels in Brum?

Need two nights in Brum for an upcoming wedding and a shopping trip to the jewellery quarter. Any recommendations?

Made the mistake of stopping in the nite nite hotel last year when we went to buy the engagement ring which was like a prison cell, it had now windows!!

Any 4/5* will suffice.

  • We always check Hilton prices on Laterooms when we need to stay in a big city - there are always excellent deals available.

We got the Radisson for 2 nights, business class room for £182. The room was absolutely amazing - on the 18th floor with fantastic views over the city. Its also nice and central - next to the Mailbox and near New Street and the Bull Ring.

We've just booked 2 nights at the Crowne Plaza on the 2 nights for the price of 1 promotion. We went for a club room which has had good reviews on Tripadvisor. Costing £99 total for both nights over a weekend.

I always stay at the Hyatt in Brum. Its the top hotel in the city, and certainly one of the nicer ones in the Hyatt chain globally
