    Thanks for this Babiesmummy.
So this is probabaly me being extra thick, sorry. How exactly does this work? I have looked at the web pages but do I have to have some sort of voucher to get these items? It's not very clear on their website.

    Thanks

You just select one item from each 'course' plus a drink from the list and the discount comes off like a multibuy at the till - no voucher needed
  • This should keep the missus happy - cheers :)

Thanks for this, they are great deals. We dined in for a tenner on a previous deal, and it was excellent. We had a sort of lemon chicken, with something similar to couscous on it, but I can't remember exactly what M&S called it. So if anyone out there can recall it, as I want to look for it again, even if it's not in the deal.

This is a good buy but I think you get better value by buying the stock remaining on Monday morning after the offer has finished and it is reduced to half price.

I think that the deserts and accompanements are generally overpriced and this reduces the apparent saving when you spend £10.

I recently got sea bass reduced from £5.99 to £2.99 as well as a number of deserts for less than £1.50 and at my branch (Handforth Dean) there is normally a good range still left although you may obviously not always get a full choice of items.

BTW I've noticed the fresh whole oakham chickens are now marketed as a 'wise buy' and are about £3.59 per kg.

  • I'm just posting this in thanks to a past post by UFOSURF who informed us all about 'contingency' products in this offer. I bought a deal today including steak, frites, profiteroles and a bottle of En Clos Des Pins, at a saving of £9.06! The bottle of wine was not listed as being part of the deal but was in the list that UFOSURF gave us. I cheekliy tried my luck with this and it worked! The wine is much much nicer than those listed and costs about £2 more usually!

Does anyone have a copy of this list, fancy some steak if I can get it.

    Thanks
  • Steak is not a contingency item - it's at the top of the list (see post 1).

    It's only a game
