If things are getting better then why are the builders all posting big loses. Interest rates are at only 0.5%, what happens to the builders if they rise?
To be fair brit I was looking for my Taylor wimpy recomendation pre Dec and found these two pearls from you.FTaylor Wimpy for example will go bust in January which should see big reductions with them and should trigger an avalanche in price fall in newbuilds.
If you want to lose even more money I recommend buying Taylor Wimpy Shares.
Well done on the last comment they only went up 1250% in the 10 months since you made the quote.
I would give up predictions if I were you.0 -
1250% out is pretty close for a Brit prediction. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The fact that Persimmon decided that the value of it's assets (land) had increased is interesting. Surely this is not as arbitary as it sounds (as described by geoffky)? Would it not require their auditors to sign off on this, and require some professional valuation? In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:0

interesting thread"The company's profit was boosted by a gain of £27.9m after it decided that the value of its assets had increased. Stripping out this gain, the company made an £18.1m loss."
Yes things are looking good for it. So if I owe the banks £100,000 but decide to revalue my £100 car myself to £10,000,000 everything will be ok then lol:rotfl:

it's quite relevant. it's always good to see if peoples views change once they have the facts right in front of them - the first time round and then the second.
sparticus was a legend - one of the greatest posters to grace MSE.0 -
