80's bday hamper - what to include?

hi,

Based on the idea of the 70's/80's child hamper I am thinking of doing something similar for my friend. Like me she was born in 1982 and no doubt remembers all the kids programmes etc that were around at the time. I remember Button Moon and Rainbow - what can you remember? I need more ideas on things to get her.... also what items could I include in the hamper?

I was thinking PJ's, bubble bath, a teddy (if I can get hold of them in the correct themes).

thanks

  • We/she was actually a teenager in the 90's so I think I will make it a 80's/90's themed hamper. I am loving all the ideas .... I have found some good stuff on ebay - retro sweets, badges (care bears/worsel gummage/blue peter etc), beanie bears in the Rainbow theme ....
  • monster munch crisps, diamond white cider or thunderbirds(if they still make it) smiley faces duran duran/wham oh jeez if you spent your youth in those decades you could go on ;)
