Food processor help

I have just filled my main bowl of my food processor and it won't switch on. I use it nearly every day so I'm pretty certain I must be doing it right. However, the blender attachement does seem to be working. Has anyone got any ideas for what I can do to check it out as I can't find the manual. Just in case anyone else has the same model and has had similar problems it's a philips cucina and I've had it about 3-4 years. Cheers for any help you can give.

My old one wouldn't work unless the bowls and blades etc. were properly seated so it might be worth taking it all off and putting it back together?

My old one was like that too so I've tried reseating this about 10 times and still it won't work. Getting really cross now as I really could do without buying a new one!

Have you got somewhere local that can take it to bits and check the connections inside? Sometimes, one wire has come loose
