Mobile contract with 3

May be of use to some people.
I was today accepted for an 18 month contract with 3. Got a spangly new phone, unlimited texts and 75 minutes for only a tenner a month! Bargain.
I was with 3 pre BR so they obviously only do internal scoring.
Worth a try for anyone struggling to get a phone.
Hope everyone is well :)

So long as you dont have to contact three customer services, you will be all right.Be careful not to exceed your call limit.Three's rates can be punishing.

For good value, try the sim only tariffs from vodafone , t-mobile and o2. they are only 30 days contract and if i am not mistaken do not do a search.

The best deals are definitely with 3 I think. Vodafone and T Mobile's rolling monthly contracts are both £15 a month, not sure about Orange.
Also, I applied for this online. Phone should be here tomorrow morning :)

they do a very light credit check. but i've not heard of anyone being refused one.

plus with the likes of orange and voda you get the choice to migrate to a full contract after having the sim only for 3 months :T
This thread has me so pumped, I headbutted my dog and we both screamed.

yes-but for 15 pounds a month you get something like 600 min and 1000 texts.I am pleased you have been accepted for a 3 contract but beware they can be sneaky and once you cross the 75 min limit the bills can be punishing.

I have often felt it is better to get a sim only contract and buy the phone. For example, for 15 pounds sim only you get 600 minutes and 1000 texts. now if you sign up to a 18 month contract the charge is 25 pm with a free nokia 6600 or something. That phone can be purchased on e bay for about 50 pounds where as over 18 months with that contract you will be paying 180 pounds.

The phone will be used by my teenage daughter, and 1000 texts just doesn't cover it trust me! Also she rarely uses any minutes. I am also on 3 and the phone comes with free 3 to 3 calls so it suits perfectly.
Free MSN Messenger too, a must for all teenagers!

    *edit*
just checked the rolling contracts from T Mobile and Vodafone, the £10 deals both have very few texts but more minutes in comparison to 3.
