I have just spent the grand total of £164 for ALL of my birthday and christmas shopping for 2005! That's 35 gifts in all and every one of them were at least 50% discounted - from Boot.com!!! Postage was free and I have got gift boxes for them all for an extra couple of quid (they charge same for gift box whether you want one or twenty or 35 in my case!)
I spent an enjoyable hour on-line shopping and am feeling quite smug as I have saved loads of cash, time and last minute panics for next year - HIGHLY recommended.something missing0 -
Nice one BOGOF Queen, just had a quick look and think I'll get down to my Xmas 2005 shopping tonight, talk about being organised ;D0

I ordered a few things at Christmas and paid for the gift box service but they just put everything in one large gift box >:(Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
Don't foget the 10% discount code from mumplusone MPDJ98. And also for another 2.5% go to boots via rpoints.
That's most of next years Xmas shopping done and thanks to the cashback coming from Nationwides credit card next month it should cover a good lot of the purchase ;D.
Thanks for the tip BOGOFF. I'm off to try and make a donation to the Tsunami Appeal now, couldn't get through on the website yesterday.0 -
I am in awe of people who have already done next year's Christmas shopping and was tempted to follow suit but realised I would have to stash the stuff somewhere for a year- not forget about it and hope my daughters etc would not change likes and enthusiasms during the year.
Fat chance - so it is back to checking this site 2 or 3 months before which is what I did this year and it worked brilliantly."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA
Preemie hats - 2.0 -
I found MSE too late this year for Christmas bargains but will DEFINITELY be checking here first before buying ANYTHING at all!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I am new to this site and obviously have a lot to learn as I had not idea about the code giving extra 10% discount etc!!! Oh well I can but improve. Thought the gift box offer was a bit too good to be true! However I am still happy - I will store all the goodies in the box it comes in which will also help as I usually buy stuff over the year then forget where I put it!something missing0

Thanks for the tips. I've just got a load of stuff. Not only some pressies but I bought a load of things in bulk thanks to them being cheaper in gift sets (deodorants and shower gels).0

It was just by luck I did a search and it came up with another thread which gave the code for 10% discount. I'd already started shopping when I remembered about rpoints, so quickly logged in there first before switching to boots, so hopefully the extra 2.5% works. I too ticked the gift box before I read the earlier thread; if they don't all come individually boxed I try a little complaint, no harm in trying.0 -
10% off not valid, but thanks anyway, was worth a try :-*0
