Storing jam tarts

Hope someone can advise me! I made LOADS of plum jam yesterday and actually ran out of jars to put it in!! So decided to make a load of jam tarts to use it up. My freezer is now full so I was wondering how long they would keep in tins for - provided I kept them away from OH and the kids - otherwise it would be about 2 minutes lol:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks in advance!

As long as the tin is airtight I think they should be OK for 2 or 3 days. I'm not speaking from experience, though - I think my longest-lived batch of jam tarts lasted for 24 hours before I ate them all! :o
Back after a very long break!
  • If the pastry gets a bit soft after a couple of days you could heat in the oven for a few mins to recrisp before serving.

    It's only a game
