:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I am fully aware it is my own fault but I have opened my eyes and feel so foolish, so I would appreciate any advice and help. Please do not criticise me and tell me what I already know though...

HANDS UP- I am admitting to post natal depression and gambling. *phew*

This has all stopped now and feel I have climbed that mountain and I am focusing on my life now!! :T

I have a WONGA loan due back tomorrow of £467. I called weeks in advance to say I could not pay them back and asked for a payment plan before it got too far. I was told to call back today and they would arrange one.

So I called back and they wanted £200 to pay, then they would set up my payment plan. I said I could not afford this, so they said £150. Again, still could not afford it.

I asked if I could pay back £45, then £10 per month as that was literally all I could afford.

As I mentioned earlier, I had a gambling problem and took out other payday loans in the past but I am working on paying them all back.

Adults in house- 2 (partner cannot help with payments as he is skint)
Children- 1 (5 month old baby)

Income
£121.78 per week maternity pay* ending in October*
£20.50 child tax credits
£80.00 child allowence

(I have checked and I/We are NOT entitled to any further income or benefits)

Outgoings
£65.00 per week shopping (this includes baby milk, food and partners meals who works away all week so for mine and his meals all day as well as a baby with nappies etc, this is good!)

£30.00 per month mobile phone (this is my best option as I get unlimited free texts as well as the calling credit. Credit rating poor obviously so cannot get contract)

£10.00 per week Provident loan
£20.00 per month Payday express repayments
£20.00 per month Dentist Bill repayment
£24.00 driving lesson per week *partner possibly facing ban (:mad::mad:) so I NEED to pass my test

£25.00 public transport
£20.00 midweek stock ups, i.e. milk, bread etc...

This leaves me with about £78 a month left. This is to cover any emergencies I might have as well as clothes, haircuts etc...

I cannot make anymore cutbacks than I already have. I even asked friends and family but they're just as skint!

Please does anyone have any advice on this? I am so stressed over this now. I am really trying to help myself now though but I feel so trapped...

Thank you :o
Hit the thanks button if it helps!:T

    leanneslow,

Firstly don't get stressed about it - if you cannot afford to repay, then you don't have to.

Secondly, try re-posting on the debt free wannabe board - more likely to get helpful advice there.

Thirdly, speak to national debtline, CCCS or citizens advice about your situation.

    Good luck

Please post in the debt free wannabe board and you will get the help you need.it can be sorted, don't worry.
  • Is there anything you could sell at short notice to raise the money (TV and/ or the computer you used to make this post?). I know it seems a drastic step but better to have these guys off your back and then rebuild.
