Le Creuset deals in Tesco

Hi, just wanted to share a deal i got in tesco the other day, now tesco have discontinued alot of le creuset to replace with their tesco finest range (which has the same style) so you will have to be quick! Was in tesco and looking for a masher, while i was in the aisle i noticed a sale on the le creuset stoneware (curve), so went over and had little nose, there was a square dish 1.2L,an oval dish 1.4L, a rectangle dish 2.4L and the matching storage jar, i bought mine in glossy black but cream, teal and volcanic were also there. I got to the checkout and OMG!! the prices are below!!!!
Square dish £1.50!!!!
Oval dish £3.50!!!!
Rectangle dish £5.00!!!!
Storage Jar £1.50!!!!
The whole range for £11.50!! the rectangle dish is worth £26.00 on its own!
i also got clubcard points which i will put towards something nice,:money:
Hope this helps someone xxx

    Hello,

Just wondering which Tesco branch was the one you found these in. I checked Swindon this morning and there were none in there, (lots of the new Tesco version though, very similar!!!!)

    Thanks!
  • I think i'd have died and gone to heaven! I'd love to have some Le Creuset cookware, but its so expensive!

Hi, it was in Toton which is an extra store, in the rural area of Nottingham, i really want some saucepans but i doubt they are gunna be 1.50p!!!! To those who say they would like some le creuset, i have bought off hartsofstur, which are very reasonably priced. The stoneware is obviously cheaper than cast iron but cooks just as well! i have the heart casserole that i bought for just £18.00 of hartsofstur! I cooked some duck in it and it was more juicey than being cooked in my cast iron pot, you cant put stoneware on the hob tho. But definatly would recommend hartsofstur, also you dont need lots of pieces to cook well, a few of the same range and thats all you need!(i wish someone had told me this!!!) I have no room in my cupboard, they are now on display!! i think i might need to chuck some pyrex away!!!!:rotfl:
