Flogging a dead horse?

Well my case is somewhere in between legal enforcement and criminal complience but the helpline isnt quite sure where, however I cant ring either department and have to wait for call backs that never materilise...

My ex runs a ltd company so it really shouldnt be that hard to just get a figure for him to pay! but getting him to pay it will be another battle. Although i know now he's opened another ltd company and 2 smaller sole traders i imagine to spread out his income so the company they are aware of has very little money going through it for him...

It amazes me that he thinks im stupid enough to not know thats what he's doing?

My daughter deserves that money to be saved up for college and uni etc.. but I'm just getting so sick of the money i'm wasting trying to chase it up.

I guess im wodnering whether i should just forget it, he has nothing to do with my DD (his own choice), whether i should just stop chasing it up and see if anything ever happens or whether i keep fighting for it?

Hi there, I'm not an expert - indeed I have my own problems getting arrears from my ex and I think my case is in the same position as yours. I posted on here last week with more or less the same question and the general feedback was to keep plugging away at it but to write (recorded delivery) every two to four weeks rather than call and be fobbed off. Your daughter is worth it (and it sounds like he has money, so they will catch up with him in the end). Good luck!
