How about a hamper? Choose something she is interested in - cookery or beauty, then fill a "hamper".

If I was going to do a cookery hamper I would buy a mixing bowl, some wooden spoons, some cake cases, then you can either make up your own dried mix (in a screw top jar) with instructions or put some lovely recipes in a small book that you've made.

If she's a Mum with young children - how about a book of baby sitting vouchers from you - you're giving your time - which is priceless!

If beauty hamper - then a small wicker basket with some cotton wool, soap, flannel, small holiday sized shampoo etc. I'm sure that if you look on the internet you'll be able to find a recipe for a home made face mask!

    Hope this helps

Aaaahhhh Princesscici - I have a friend like that and it is always really difficult to know what to get them - specially as I have two kids and no money and she has the money and no kids!

You might find that your friend would appreciate your time more! So you could do her a voucher book, but fill it with things like you'll cook a meal for her freezer; you'll take a parcel in for her when she's at work, or do her garden for her.

You know her best - and besides no matter what you may feel, if she's your best friend, she'll understand your situation. Which will mean that she will appreciate all the more the time and thought you've put into your gift.
