Could that have been one of the worst summers we have ever had? We had a bit of good weather in June, but once the kids got off the weather turned, Every day has been basically the same, cloud, occasionally a tiny but of sun, and random heavy downpours going around, and this past few days it has become noticably cooler, I take it thats our Summer over.

I have loved this summer, all this rain has kept the little !!!!!! in their houses under their parents feet instead of bouncing a ball off my car. Roll on a lovely September when they are all back at schoolWell I Love Tv And I Love T. Rex, I Can See Through Your Skirt I've Got X-Ray Spex0

We have been quite lucky in my part of Kent. We have had rain but a lot of it has fallen at night. We have also had some really nice sunny days.0

LOL Rosalie-lavender. I'm really glad you said where you were from. This thread is on the Northern Ireland forum so we'd have all been wondering how your weather was so much better than the rest of ours otherwise.

We've a house in France and our French next door neighbour is arriving tomorrow to stay with us here for a week. I've asked her if she could try to pack some sunshine as she certainly won't be seeing too much of it here. She's never been to Ireland ( North or South ) before and we really wanted to show her the sights, Giant's causeway Newcastle etc but if it's pouring rain I don't know what we will do with her. It's certianing going to be testing on my french and her english. Wish me luck. And if anyone can think of intersting places to take her if it's raining I'd be glad to hear their suggestions.Member #7 SKI-ers Club
