    But if a company wants rid and pay you off you have to have plans and make sure its worth it either in terms of enjoying retirement early and or having enough money to live off etc. If you are younger obviously have to factor in redundancy and whether there is more work out there

    Unfortunatly (from BTs point of view) most of their long-service staff are contractly entitled to far more than statutary redundancy.
