advice needed for FTB

I am looking for a mortgage as I have seen a property. My file from experian shows 1 settled default of £60 from caboot. apart from that I have a mobile phone contract paid on time my natwest account as well as settled loans. the experian score shows poor due to searches made for car insurance, which company do you think i can go for I am full time employed on £24000 per year. I have a 15% deposit do you think there is any hope for me

    What mortgage amount are you looking for though?

    Do you have any other debts?

    Do you have an up to date copy of your credit file?

  • The property is valued at 68000, and I have a 15% deposit, my broker is trying abbey, I have a mobile phone contract and £400 loan which is paid on time, all other accounts are settled, I have a copy of report which only shows the one default registered sep 2006 which has been settled

    Should be - what date does it show the defaut settled?

    The only reason I ask is becuase there may be other deals out there

  • default was settled aug this year as I did not know about it until I started checking my report, it was registered sep 2006.
