Mine is church of england and is costing me £5500

I am getting married at a Unitarian church and the cost including an Organist is £540 + 30pp for notice of marriage so £600 all in.
My sil2b is getting married in a couple of months and her CofE church is costing her £380 all in bells and all!! and its only 2 mile from where we're getting wed!0 -
i always thought a church wedding would be more expensive, but its costing me nearly £500 to get the registrar out to our hotel! maybe a church is the way to go :think:Mummy to

It can be cheaper, but it can also be loads more expensive! We looked at three churches - one wanted £620, another wanted £500 and the third was £850. In the end we're marrying in MY church as I felf hypocritical even setting foot in the other more photogenic churches OH (a non-church goer) suggested. The fact that my church is catholic and my priest only asks for a donation is a bonus!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0
