Is everyone's kids going back to school next week? they don't go back till the 8th here  two more weeks yet

DS is back to school on 8th; DD starts college next Tuesday  This wouldn't be so bad, but she hasn't decided between A-levels and art college, and won't decide until she gets GCSE results on Thursday. If it's the art college, there's a list as long as your arm of stuff she needs before starting  and she's off to a festival for some on the weekend.

Kids back to school last week here...but then ours were off earlier than yours!
We are in Orkney though and Scottish Schools always earlier hols.
My DS is only 2 though so no school or nursery quite yet!
Not feeling that inspired today, like a lot of you, but this cheered me up (along with some more songs by the same wonderful band!). Breakfast then flying. x

((((hugs))) for Zoe, G&B & msgnomey...

Well I'm up and breakfasted, but not impressed with the weather... I've still got one bedroom rug on the line, and its dull and overcast outside.

I have to go into the office for a meeting at 2pm, so if my redundancy letter doesn't arrive this morning I'll be staging a sit-in until they give me a signed copy :p

I need to prepare the kitchen for cake-making, wash muslins/curtains (assuming they'll dry), do the ironing, go to the shop and buy honey (apparently the price is going to go up drastically very soon, so stock up...), find a cake recipe and check I've worked out the quantities for a 12" square (to make a 10" or possibly 11" round), check up on the blackberries and if I get everything done in time, possibly actually get round to going to the gym for yoga and pilates this evening!

    Suppose I should move then...
