hi, i have realised that the joint of brisket in my slow cooker is going to be too much so i have made some herby pastry and will make a pie with whats left, i have to ask though if i want to freeze it am i best freezing it freshly made ie uncooked pastry? how long does uncooked pastry keep for as a pie in the fridge?
or shall i just cook the pie then freeze in portions?

I always freeze the filling and make the pie later. You could freeze the pastry seperately as well.
I tend to do this as if I don't make a pie with it I could have it with dumplings instead.
If you do freeze as a made up pie I think uncooked is best, it would taste better that way.0
