Don't strain too much and push them back in before I sit down! :p Mine are the results of pregnancy, I have used Preparation H before and got referred to the hospital to see what could be done for them but I chickened out at the last minute. Now I just live with them and they don't bother me that much but when they do, I do the above!

Apparently alternating cold and warm helps - ice pack followed by sitting in a baby bath of warm water.

    Also preparation H and a high-fibre, high-water diet.

Drink lots, plenty of fibre, prune juice if you are struggling to erm "go".
During pregnancy I used Germoloids cream which helped ease any discomfort. If they are really that bad and causing a lot of grief go and see your GP. I couldn't have lived with them long term.

Go to your doctor. They can give you stuff far better than Prep H, which tends to be useless.

Bitsy is right, plenty of water and fibre, basically a really good diet.

I had them after i had the baby, god it was awful, couldnt walk, stand or lie down.

one day i was crying with the pain and had to get a callippo (ice lolly thing) out of the freezer and lie on the bed with it between the cheeks of my backside, that only soothed it for a short while :(

I can honestly say my bum hurt more than my minnie moo after childbirth!!

Oh and make sure you keep the area clean! It's quite hard to wipe properly with them being there, so i'd go, then get a luke warm bath afterwards to clean and soothe the area.

I really feel for you, hope they don't trouble you too much! x
