Evening all :hello:
My carpet cleaner heats up the water. Its a bissell one power heat or something.
Anyhow, hubby went to use it today and it wouldn't pump the water, so in true OS, we stripped it down and realised that the hole where it heats up the water is blocked up.
We've made a hole in the limescale, so the water now flows and the machine works, but I think I better de-scale it. What way would you recomend?
I look forward to your ideas
Thanks in advance

Put about a wine glass full of vinegar in the tank and run it empty, should sort it out OK .
If you live in a hard water area forget about expensive addatives for removing limescale .
Acid conteracts an alkalie which lime is . why pay £s for an acid with a fancy name when a 30p bottle of vinegar will do the same ?

Thanks, I just hope it doesn't continue to have a smell of vinegar in it
