LX Direct Code Question

I used this code today ZG562 to get £15 off my order. My confirmation shows the reduced figure but when I log into their site to see my order status it shows the full amount before discount.

Does this mean my code has not worked - even although I have an order confirmation showing this? Also has anyone used this code recently?

Hope someone can help.

Many thanks in advance

  • Your code has probably worked - LX direct deal with codes really weirdly! They take the full amount from your card (if you pay by card), and then refund the value of the code a couple of weeks later (told me it was to stop people sending back stuff and getting full amount back). Just make sure you check your card statements to check that 15 pounds is refunded within a couple of weeks off getting your order, otherwise contact customer services. Hope this helps!

I had trouble with them,. my fault really used the same code as you plus another for free p+p got greedy !!!
when i checked my account they just gave free p+p so i emailed and queried the change in final amount, the reply was that two codes cant be used together, so i requested that the bigger discount was taken off ( duh !)

Got very nice reply saying no probs......... got my account invoice today and they have some how applied even more discount so the product has just over £20 off .

Best thing to do is send email explaining that you thought the code had worked and why have they changed it without advising you, how disappointed you are being a new customer blah blah.

    Hi

I've used both LX direct and Littlewoods twice now using the £15 first order and £20 existing customer codes. I've found that when the order is being processed it shows the full amount. Once the order has been dispatched, if you look on your account transaction history it shows the date the goods were dispatched with full amount charged to card then another transaction stating the voucher is refunded to the card. On all four occasions the full payment has been debited and the voucher then credited on the same day.

    Hope this helps

Thanks for your help. I have looked at my account summary and the discount has been credited back to my card. :j
