DIP/AIP, work history and TUPE

For the Decision in Principal / Agreement in Principal I've been asked to provide my employment history. Back in May 2008 I was TUPE'd over from Company A to Company B (can't post links due to being a newbie, google search on TUPE to find details about Transfers of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) if you want to know what that means) due to Company B essentially buying the part of Company A that maintained their IT systems.
On the statement of terms for Company B, it states that the period of continuous employment is counted as being from the date I joined Company A.
How should I be presenting my Employment history? One entry for Company B convering the entire period, or as two separate entries with the reason for changing being TUPE'd over? (I'm worried that to the layman, it might look like two different employments when in actual fact it was the same job in the same chair with no action of mine being taken)
Also same question, with Company C being bought by Company A (I figure anyone working in the IT industry will be well versed in this!)

I would say you've got yourself a bad case of AA (acronym attack) there...0

I would put the full continuous employment since that is what TUPE is for.
You are treated as if you started on the original start date by the new employer.
Looks a bit funny when you have 15 years service with a company that is 9 years old as I was as a result of a TUPE.0 -
