Experian Reports

Hi,
I recently purchased a copy of my Credit Report (the £2 postal one) and noticed a couple of errors on there, namely a default which I was unaware of (it was a very small amount from 3 years ago, which is showing up as settled - the amount was just £12.65!!!).
I was informed that I could query this entry online, so I signed up to the 30 day free period. I got my free report online (don't worry I will cancel the trial tomorrow) and noticed that the entry that was on the paper copy is not on the online version (also several other older accounts were missing). There is only a week between both reports, so not much should have changed.
My query is simply that I was expecting the paper & online versions to be identical but the entry I was going to query is not on the online version, it does show all my active accounts plus a couple of settled ones from 2 years ago.
I was under the impression that information would be held for 6 years from the settlement date, but this account was settled just 3 years ago.
Do I still query the entry or is it a waste of time?
I'm going to be making an application for a mortgage in approx 6 months time (the reason for getting my credit report) but would prospective lenders see the paper version (more info) or the online version (less info)?
I'm confused

I don't know the answer, but let's assume they get the full picture, ie the paper copy. I would query it, by writing to them, which i thought was free anyway. Do it now because they don't move fast! You wouldn't think such a small amount would matter, but I don't know how closely they analyse them - they might just pick up some form of default and turn you down. Better safe than sorry.0
