I have:
Got lift to & from work....no bus fare again YAY
Used points card at over-the-road Co-Op when buying a Radio Times (for OH - he paid!) and a Get Well Soon card.
Bought a hair product I was going to buy anyway, via QuidCo and got 7% back. (Every little helps!)
Did some searches on Quidco for a few bits (with Kelkoo, The High Street etc) to earn a few more pennies (yep, again, every little helps!!)
Added to the 20p fund and started up my £2 jar again! :j
Will be hanging washing out (a full load on economy cycle - things weren't really dirty, just needed freshening) on line shortly - no tumble dryer use.
That's it I think today. Not great but at least something.
Come on you guys...inspiration needed!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Sorry LA, don't think anything I've done will be particularly inspirational!
HM lunch for me and DS again
Have written list for shopping at the weekend (partly so I don't forget, partly so I don't buy anything I don't need!)
Sorted through clothes to get spring/summer stuff ready to wear.
Some searching on Quidco too!
HM Toad in the Hole for dinner tonight.
Made some minor adjustments to my May budget.
That's it!Back on the DFW Wagon:
CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/180 -

Hi dottyanne. No it's not over £10k but it was over one thousand this month which is the most I have ever been overdrawn in my entire life. On top of that I have credit card bills and a loan too
Yeah it is depressing if you sit and think about it too much....I'm just literally (and I do mean literally) now trying to think about every penny I claw back and pay off as a penny nearer my goal.
Good luck my dear....and remember you are far far FAR from alone on this journey!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Can't wait until the end of the month when I am on schedulr to overpay by £260.0 -
Wow Alicatt that's great news! Wish I could do that!
Oh I forgot to say earlier......last night I managed to secure a free bed for two nights when/if I go on my Amsterdam trip in October (some of you may remember me posting about this earlier in the week or whenever it was, me saying I wanted to go and see a sporting event as cheaply as possible.)
Hopefully I will get free tickets into the arena as well as the person offering me the spare room will be working there too!! I will also get free lifts to & from the event as well of course! Hooray!Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Thought I'd join in on this for the first time! Today I managed to:
- Get paid - always handy!
- Made an 'automatic' £9.00 payment against my student loan. The interest is about £30 a month, but hey-ho!
- Used a coupon I had from a packet of crisps to get myself a 4-pack of Carling (sure this isn't a kid-friendly offer?!)...
- Pushed £400 in the direction of my ISA.
- Transferred £500 temporarily to First Direct in hope of taking advantage of the £45 Quidco cashback.
I think that's about it for today. On the downside, I went out for a spot of lunch, spent a couple of quid in Sainsburys and had to fill up the car. However, who cares, it is nearly Friday!Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -
New 0% card came today, will transfer the the balance from B/card in a few days once its activated.
Tried to call my mate to get her bank details to give her the £300 back, but shes not answering the phone GAH, really wish she would come back to me!
Did some pigsback clicking while this place was in the menders, does that count? Made 2.10 already... Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
