    Paper towels, thats much too expensive :)
    I tried this too but got newsprint all over the upvc and as you can only use mild detergent on that it was really hard to remove.

    Not on topic of windows, but fabric conditioner I use it in a spray bottle with a bit of water to spray around rooms to freshen up sometimes as I love the smell of fresh washing . i did this when i was selling my house and it went in a day!
  • tried the fabric conditioner on windows. Abslolutely top tip. They haven't looked this clean since I had them put in, and virtually effortlless as well. thanks

  • Didn't realise windows are washable. You learn something every day.

    I'm going to go mad. I'll wash my windows every ten years whether they need it or not. What the heck!
