That's a good price at £3.35/kilo, good regular offers at Mr T or ASDA generally do not get lower than £5 per kilo. If dates are good might stock up on these although I do prefer a strong, mature cheddar, is this the only strength available?0

They do mild, mature and extra mature, its wyke farm cheese I think, very nice!Aug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00

the extra mature makes nice cheese sauce xLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming ~ WOO HOO what a ride!0

you can freeze cheese so no need to worry about the use by dates
if we had a farmfoods around here i'd be buying a fair few of these, we eat far more cheese than meat in this house0 -
Use by dates? I just use them to ensure the cheese is old enough to have a bit of flavour to it! If cheese is not over the use by date in our house it is not strong enough! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Went to FF yesterday, unfortuately all the mature/extra mature stuff is 300g packs so it's dearer at £5.56 per kilo, still nice cheese at the price but not the bargain the mild is at 500g packs.
The Lidl stuff sounds great value, will check that out for the freezer0
