On-line order to a company in liquidation

I ordered a birthday present for my Dad from a company on-line which involved him being sent a bottle of beer at the start of every month for six months. He received one bottle but since then nothing. I have now found out that the company have gone into liquidation. Could anyone please give me advice about how to try and go about getting some kind of refund (although I'm guessing my chances of getting anything back is rather slim). I haven't got a clue where to start.
Any kind of help would be much appreciated. (I hope I've posted this in the right place!)
