Paypal take 3.5% plus 20p. Its worth checking out both ebay and paypal fees before you sell to make sure your profit margins are correct. Fees Here.
You will also have to pay 10% Final value fees to Ebay (£10). Ebay FEES0 -
Its real p take - paypal grab some of the money and then ebay as well.
And dont ebay own paypal as well?0 -
paypal charges are down to visa / mastercard payment charges. Its very expensive to set up your own CC payments...
Ebay charges... well its a VERY well known brand, reaching thousands of buyers... doubt you would get nearly as much profit if you had to advertise your auction independently. I think their charges are very reasonable for the service they offer. I've always sold my items for an acceptable profit, the one dispute I had with a seller was resolved quickly and everyone was happy.
I'm happy to pay for their serviceBeer meter E[.\.......]F0
