Hello,
Well it was done finally the other day, now absolutely terrified now more then before and wonder what to do?
Firstly Im abroad and have had some very friendly emails from a young lady who told me that I will have a case officer and an examiner? Is this normal? What should I have ready for the interview?
Secondly as Im abroad will I suddenly wake up to cancelled bank accounts and a repossessed car? or how does it work?
Thirdly do I start emailing and writing to debtors to say "Hey im bankrupt heres reference xxxxx"
Fourth I had a state pension from military service, I dont get this monthly, this is still held in the UK, will I be able to move that abroad when this is over?
Help and advice and a hug will be gratefully received

Firstly Im abroad and have had some very friendly emails from a young lady who told me that I will have a case officer and an examiner? Is this normal? What should I have ready for the interview? All perfectly normal, every bc gets a case officer and examiner. You will need your SOA for your interview, drink, fags, pen, and a piece of paper with "do not waffle ,or try to fill silences"
Secondly as Im abroad will I suddenly wake up to cancelled bank accounts and a repossessed car? or how does it work?Did you open a basic bank account prior to bc? if so that should be ok. All other accounts held by you will normally be frozen. The exminer will normally tell you about your car during the interview or if not will write to ell you the outcome so you will not "just wake up to a repossessed car".
Thirdly do I start emailing and writing to debtors to say "Hey im bankrupt heres reference xxxxx"no the OR does that. They have to notify all credtiors of your bc within 8wks of the date you were ajudged
Fourth I had a state pension from military service, I dont get this monthly, this is still held in the UK, will I be able to move that abroad when this is over?sorry no idea
