loan approved - should I haggle with CC companies?

Just had my £3k loan approved with a very low APR compared to my Credit cards and recieved my funds.
I have 3 companies to pay off.
Capital one : £1300 approx.
Aqua £ 1200 approx.
Next directory: £500 approx
I was going to pay them off and be done with it, but do you think it`d be cheeky to ask them for a lower settlement figure.
I have always sent them the minimum payments monthly, so am wondering whether or not its worth it or not.
What do you think??

yes go for it you dont know if you dont ask and dont forget cut those cards up throw them away or you will run them up again people allways do ,no keeping one for emergencies get a cashplan mastercard prepaid top it up every month i put £80pm on mine and to be honest dont use it unless im on holiday etc booking flights etc but there is no chance of getting in to credit card debt again0

This will ruin your credit rating. I guess if you have just got a loan then you have been making payments on time, so by offering you will mess up future chances of more credit/mortgage.
Also if you have been making payments they will not accept any reduced offers.0 -
They can only say no!!!
I'd have a good reason ready why they should give you a reduction though... if they think they might not get the whole amount, they will settle, if they think they will, the won't!Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
Phoned Capital one - asked - and they said that they would send me a settlement figure in the post !!!!!!!!!!
Even if its just £50 knocked off then thats good !!
Definately worth asking !Debt Free Jan 2010!(Be happy) the state of your life is nothing more than the state of your mind! X:j0
