The Competition Commission says that home credit customers are being overcharged on loans.
The Commission's been investigating the industry and has released its provisional findings this morning. It says that doorstep lending is not a competitive industry, resulting in consumers being substantially overcharged.

i think these type of firms pray on the poorer areas and it is a disgrace i know shopacheck and provident are firms this country can do with out in our town two cash a cheque type shops opened they are places that should have no place on our high streets, and one advert on television at the moment selling goods forgot what the shops called now but i did note 29.9apr get rid of this lot,credit unions have taken a lot of customers off the above and the gouvernment should promote them more for loans and savings and stop the vulnureble going to these type of companies some peolpe need to be protected from them selves0
