Choice Catalogue Dispute
In 2004 I returned goods to catalogue. In the MEANtime they added charges to my account. At the time I disputed everything and left it at that.
Now in 2009 they have sent the bailiffs to an old address.
URGENT: What do I do next can I go to anyone who will act on my behalf? I feel very intimidated and do not want to do this all on my own. I want to dispute the whole thing and all their charges. They have sold this trumped up debt to an agency.

Write to them and ask for a full breakdown of the debt and charges.
A bailiff would only call after a court judgement against you - have you checked to see if you have a CCJ?
If not it was probably a debt collector not quite the same thing.0
